The Sikorsky HH-60 Pave Hawk is a specialized combat search and rescue (CSAR) helicopter developed for the United States Air Force (USAF). It features a range of modifications and equipment to make it suitable for its mission.
The HH-60G Pave Hawk focuses on the recovery of soldiers in difficult situations, while the MH-60G Pave Hawk focuses on the insertion and recovery of special operations forces. Both versions operate in adverse areas during the day or at night, carrying out tasks such as civil search and rescue, emergency aeromedical evacuation, disaster relief, foreign aid, and drug-related duties during peacetime.
